Left behind on the beach

LEFT BEHIND ON THE BEACH

Left Behind on the beach:
Hundreds of shiny shells,
Dark green slimy seaweed,
and thick sand, good for building sandcastles.

Left behind on the beach:
Waves smashing hardily,
and shells full of soft sand,
dried up seaweed that's been washed up on shore, some crunchy leftovers for a birds supper.

Left behind on the beach:
Smooth sunscreen, and a hat for the kids,
and a pair of dark sunglass for Mum,
and a relaxing beach chair for Dad.

Left behind on the beach:
Splash! Kids diving in the water quickly,
and kids splashing water with their bare hands,
big waves smashing to swim in.
